ALMA JEAN SALAMON CAMPBELL
MADISON - Mrs. Alma Jean Salamon Campbell, 85, of 221 N. Franklin St., died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Wesley Long Hospital, Greensboro, North Carolina.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Dayton, Ohio, and was orphaned at the age of 12.
Jean made a good life for herself through hard work. Her independent character and precise neatness will be remembered by all those who knew her.
She was a lifelong Presbyterian.
She was self-employed.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Campbell, a native of Madison; and her special nieces, Marilyn Joyce Tucker and Kathleen B. Joyce.
Survivors include her nephew, Donald Joyce; her niece, Peggy Joyce McKee and husband, Gil of Madison; her sister-in-law, Pauline C. Feimster of Taylorsville; and brother-in-law, S. Harry Campbell and wife, Sue of Charlotte.
