YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at the Jerusalem Baptist Church, for Mrs. Amy F. DeLoach, 92, who departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at Park Vista Ohio Living Center.
Mrs. DeLoach was born June 12, 1925, in Seneca, S.C., a daughter of Leroy and Betty Foster Benson.
She graduated from East High School and attended Youngstown State University. She taught Sunday school at the church for 30 plus years. She was on the Missionary Society and choir. She was president of the PTA at John White Elementary School and a member of the Mother’s Club at McGuffey Center.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Betty Bogan of Campbell, Ohio, Erma (James) Floyd of Clayton, Alabama and James Arnold DeLoach of Ashtabula, OH and two grandchildren, Alexis Bogan and Carl Bogan Jr.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lillian Frost.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
