MANSFIELD: Peter J. Holkenborg, 80, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away November 12, 2016, surrounded by his family at Arbors of Mifflin.
He was born November 13, 1935, in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, to the late Adolf and Mildred (Kaiser) Holkenborg.
Peter was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1955-1959. Peter worked at Sprint for 20 years and retired in 1998.

He is survived by his wife of almost 40 years, Willa Rose Morris Holkenborg; five children, Susan Holkenborg of GA, Diane (Randall) Harrison of FL, Stephen Holkenborg of GA, Robin Owens of Mansfield, Leslie (Chris) Fight of GA; eight grandchildren, Cliff Harrison, Matthew Simmons, Ron Owens, Savanna Harrison, Dylan (Brittany) Owens, Jeremy Fight, Emily Fight, and Shawn Holkenborg; a brother, Larry (Nancy) Holkenborg; a sister, Janice Holkenborg; and several nieces and nephews.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Adolf and Mildred (Kaiser) Holkenborg; and a grandson, Joshua Corbin Owens.
