Mrs. George Franklin Williams, 60, a resident of Ranger since 1946, died at 5:23pm Friday at Ranger General Hospital. She had been hospitalized for some time.
Born Addie Bell Wells on Feb 22 1896, in Brownwood, Texas. She married George Franklin Williams on July 5, 1917 in Stamford, Texas.
Funeral will be held at 3pm Saturday at First Baptist Church here, with the Rev.Perkins, pastor, officiating. Burial will be there.
Survivors include her husband of Ranger, two sons, James Richard Williams of Lubbock and George Franklin Williams, Jr of Tacoma, Washington; a daughter Lottie Lee Williams (Crittenden), of Veelmoor, Texas; three brothers, Jacob Bynam Wells of Venus, Joseph Ather Wells of Richland Springs, and Charles Leonard Wells of Brownwood, Texas; a sister Debra Leorah Wells (Dula) of Dallas ; and five grandchildren.
Her parents are George W Wells and Mary Melvina Beal.
