LIBERTY TOWNSHIP – It is with great sadness that the family of Vera M. Levin announces her passing after a brief illness, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the age of 92.
She was born Aug. 18, 1925, in Canton, Ohio the daughter of Charles C. Gamble and Mary (Snively) Gamble.
Vera worked for Jewel Mart until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Lon M. (Diana) Levin; grandchildren Lisa M. Hand and Kevin M. (Melissa) Levin; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edgar Levin, whom she was married to for 49 years; her sister, Betty Schwartz; and brother, Charles C. Gamble JR.
Graveside services will be held at Rodef Sholom Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio on Thursday May 3, 2018, at 11:30 a.m.
