Dickinson Musinde age of 75, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 1,2017 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
He was born November 28, 1941 to Felesiah Ouma and Peter Musinde Ouma.
He was a dedicated scholar who held a Bachelor in Finance and a Masters Degree in Economics from the Leningrad Institute of Finance and Economics in Saint Petersburg, Russia. His professional career begun at Ministry of Lands and transitioned to Ministry of Finance-Customs Department where he worked until he retired.
Shortly after retirement, Dickinson and his family were afforded the opportunity to relocate to the United States from Nairobi, Kenya in 1998 and have resided in Ohio ever since.
Dickinson worked for Time Warner Communications and served faithfully as a member of World Harvest Church for nearly 18 years where he served as an Usher and a Deacon. He was an avid traveler, multilingual who spoke four languages fluently, and his greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Dickinson is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joyce Musinde; daughters, Felesiah, Catherine, Lillian, Jackie, Ebony and Priscah Musinde; sons, Peter Musinde and Edward Wanyandeh; grandchildren, Valerie, Sydney, Amani and Amirah Musinde; and his sister Aliki Ongesso.
He is preceded in death by his brother; Hezron, Ojiambo, Ouma and his sister; Priscah. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 1pm to 2pm at World Harvest Church, Canal Winchester, Ohio where his service will immediately follow at 2pm. Burial will be in Busia, Kenya.
