NORTH LIMA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Philip Rogers at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, at St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive in Boardman, Ohio for Nadine A. Biro, 86, who passed away peacefully at Assumption Village in North Lima, Ohio on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 19, 2017.
Nadine was born Aug. 28, 1931, in Marblehead, Ohio a daughter of Joseph and Helen Chura Smorgala.
She married George Biro on Aug. 1, 1953, in Marblehead and moved to the Youngstown area a year later.
Nadine was a member of St. Charles Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, George Biro, with whom she recently celebrated 64 years of marriage; a son Patrick (Norma) Biro of San Diego; three daughters, Carol (Paul) Schmidt of Canfield, Christine (Brad) Davis of Stow and Cathy (Dan) Cunningham of Elyria, Ohio; a sister Joan (Paul) Lukac of Port Clinton, OH; 10 grandchildren, Brian (Kate), Louie (Melissa), Matt (Tina), Kerri, Brett (Bri), Kelli (Mike), Nicole, Tohnia, Jessica, and Francisco; and four great-grandchildren, with two on the way.
Besides her parents, Nadine was preceded in death by a brother ,Joseph Smorgala.
Friends may call on Monday, Nov. 27, at St. Charles Church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
Graveside services to be held at St. Joseph Cemetery in Marblehead will follow at 2:15 p.m.
