Edward Brajkovich

HUBBARD – There will be services held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hubbard, Ohio for Edward “Bug” Brajkovich, 52, who passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at home.

Edward was born April 26, 1965, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) a son of Edward M Brajkovich and Rose Ann Bogden.

Ed attended the Grace Lutheran Church in Hubbard, OH.

He grew up in Campbell, Ohio and graduated from Campbell High School in 1983. After graduation, he was employed by Morgan Foods, working at every Kentucky Fried Chicken in the area. He also worked for National Record Mart/Oasis Music, then later at FYE, building friendships while doing what he loved. He was currently working for Big Lots at their Hermitage, Pa. store.

Ed had a passion for all things music, he loved spending time with friends and family, bowling and was a big Star Wars fan.

He will be sadly missed by his family, his wife, the former Lisa K. McCracken, whom he married May 7, 1994; his son, Garrett, who was his world; his father, Ed Brajkovich of Campbell; his mother, Rose “Cookie” Brajkovich of Garfield Heights; his brother, Danny (Mandy) Brajkovich of Brandon, England; his sister, Barb (Kevin) Kish of Garfield Heights; his father-in-law, Taylor McCracken of Hubbard; his sister-in-law, Michele Murphy (Bill Kirby) of Pittsburgh; brother-in-law Rick (Cathy) McCracken of Girard; and nieces, nephews, godchildren and a multitude of friends he called family.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Eva Jean McCracken and brother-in-law Ron Murphy.

There will be calling hours on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, prior to the service from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Hubbard.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
